Posted by admin in Audioslave, World Of Music on May 26, 2011
The exceptionally talented Rock group Audioslave have released their CD entitled Out Of Exile. I am very confident and happy to announce that I believe Audioslave fans, and Rock fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Out Of Exile their artistic excellence is on full display as they have once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be their best work to date.
I wish it weren’t the case but, it’s not everyday that I get a CD for review that I can just pop in and comfortably listen to from beginning to end. There is usually a song or two that I just can’t force myself to get through. Not at all the case with Out Of Exile. Every track is enjoyable and was pretty easy for me to listen to from start to finish.
These days it’s a very rare CD on which every single song is good or better than the one before it. This CD is certainly one of those rare CDs.
Overall Out Of Exile is an outstanding release. What I call must have music. I give it two thumbs up and is most definitely a worthy addition to any Rock collection. Truly an outstanding Rock CD. One of those that is completely void of any wasted time, as each track is simply superb.
While this entire CD is outstanding some of my favorites are track 1 – Your Time Has Come, track 9 – Yesterday To Tommorrow, and track 12 – The Curse Read the rest of this entry »
Audioslave Album Review

As their self-titled debut, Audioslave re-released Chris Cornell as a super rock star into the rock and roll world once again. With the rest of Rage Against the Machine playing as the band behind him, Chris as the front man created a brilliant album with Audioslave. Although the Audioslave album is more geared towards hard rock fans and shies a bit away from the pop rock atmosphere, this album’s presence in the progression of modern hard rock is unmistakable.
This album had some major radio hits across the rock stations including “Show me How To Live,” “I Am The Highway,” and “Like A Stone.” However, listening to the album in its entirety shows that there certainly could have been more radio hits such as “Cochise,” “Exploder,” “Shadow on the Sun,” and “Gasoline;” all of which are masterly recorded and powerful rock songs much like the major radio hits that came off this album.
The Audioslave CD really breaks the mold of the modern rock band’s tendency to give two or three good songs on an album with a bunch of lemons as the other songs. Every song on the album is at a minimum pleasant to listen to. When taken in its entirety from start to finish it only leaves you wanting more of Chris Cornell’s unique sound combined with the power of Tom Morrello’s unique guitar playing style.
